Dead serious face: easy.

Fake smile: easy. 

Right now I get the most satisfaction from a truly authentic guffaw, a bone-deep har har har. 

I pay a lot of attention to what makes people laugh, these days.  Why people laugh, how they laugh, whether or not they just grin real hard or let it all out in a wild burst.  

I see so many…SO MANY photos of folks being serious, being sexy, being demure.  And it’s lovely, really is.  But I look at these photos, and there’s nothing for me to sink my teeth into. I know nothing of a person from the way they model pose.  From the way they look serious. 

A willingness to laugh out loud, un-self-consciously in front of someone they just met, that tells me something.  

I hope it shows something, too.
